Amilton AM hires head of Gestion Privée

French asset manager Amilton AM has appointed Mathilde de La Servière as head of Gestion Privée (private wealth management).

La Servière joined from Merill Lynch where she has been working as head of Discretionary Portfolio Management since 2006.

She established Merill Lynch Portfolio Managers (MLPM), the firm’s subsidiary in France. La Servière has also overseen the management of multi-asset portfolios in Paris.

Prior to that, La Servière worked at NSM Gestion (now known as Neuflize OBC), part of the ABN Amro Group. From 1994 to 2001, she was responsible for managing US equity funds. Then she moved to Banque Jean-Philippe Hottinguer – Gestion Privée where she was director of research, responsible for the strategy and construction of discretionary portfolios from 2001 to 2006.

Amilton AM currently manages  €475m of assets.
