Amundi has been picked as the top French asset manager in the latest pan-European Thomson Reuters Extel survey for France in 2015.

Rounding out the top five were Natixis AM, BNP Paribas IP, La Banque Postale AM and Exane AM.

The results were published in French financial newspaper Les Echos.

The survey is considered one of the main benchmarks in investment banking and asset management. Over 18,000 individual voters from buy-side firms, brokerage firms/research houses and Europe’s largest quoted companies worldwide took part in the process.

The survey highlights achievement across the buy-side, sell-side and corporate communities.

Ronan Poupon, portfolio manager European equities at Natixis AM, was picked first among fund management individuals ahead of Esther Dijkman and Yasmina De Bray, both analysts at Amundi.

Among the French brokers, Exane BNP Paribas took first position. Oddo Securities and Kepler Cheuvreux completed the top three, ahead of Societe Generale and Natixis.
