Carmignac hires senior manager

Carmignac has appointed David Older as senior manager.

He is based in London and reponsible for the exposure of the firm’s global funds to communication, information technologies, medias and Internet sectors.

Older has spent 12 years at SAC Capital Point Advisors in New York where he held various positions such as co-head of Communications, Medias, Internet and Information technologies.

Edouard Carmignac, founder of Carmignac, explained that the asset manager’s expertise has been strenghten on these four sectors as they will be modeling tommorow’s world.

Carmignac is managing €58bn in assets as at 31 March 2015.
