Ecofi Investissements strengthens teams

Paris-based Ecofi Investissements, the asset management arm of Crédit Coopératif group, has appointed Sébastien Grasset as chief operating officer and general secretary. The firm has also hired Camille Barbier as chief investment officer and Rodolphe Barbanneau as financial risk controller.

Grasset, who joined the board of Ecofi Investissements, is in charge of the development of the firm. Formerly, he was CEO and member of the board of Twenty First Capital. He also held several positions at OFI Asset Management such as head of Legal Unit.

Barbier, who joined Ecofi Investissements’ board, is responsible for the asset allocation and the organisation of the management team. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as chief investment officer at Twenty First Capital. He began his carrer at BNP Paribas in Frankfurt before integrating Ixis Asset Management bond manager and then moved to la Mutuelle d’Ivry – La Fraternelle (MIF) where he was chief financial officer.

Barbanneau joined from Twenty First Capital where he held roles as quantitative analyst and diversified funds manager.

Ecofi Investissements had €7.45bn of assets under management as at 1st March 2015.
