Paris headquartered La Française has launched its first range of strategically aware investing (SAI) equity funds, one year after the creation of a joint-venture, LFIP, with SAI specialist Inflection Point Capital Management (IPCM).

This new line of funds covers eurozone, Europe, emerging markets and global, representing almost €1bn in assets under management and offering several investment themes.

The SAI process adds three factors to traditional environmental, social and governance criteria : innovation capacity, the ability to anticipate and adapt to changing trends, and a company’s positioning relative to existing global trends.

“IPCM supplies extra-financial data on over 900 global companies that together with LFIP, they interpret and integrate with traditional financial criteria. LFIP then selects the best in class candidates for each of its funds”, both firms explained.

La Française and IPCM are fine-tuning a SAI methodology that will soon be applied to fixed income investment funds.

La Française has €48bn of assets under management as at 31 December 2014.
