Primonial appoints chief operations officer

Paris-based Primonial group has named Thomas Rachlin as chief operations officer.

He will be in charge of the firm’s middle office and information technology. Its duties include the optimisation and the digitalisation of the group’s operational processes.

Rachlin has joined Primonial in 2006, where he handled several projects and managed teams. He also headed Primonial TI, the group’s subsidiary in Canada.

Before joining Primonial, Rachlin held positions at BNP Paribas Fortis and AGF Asset Management.

As of 31 December 2014, Primonial managed and advised over €9bn in assets, of which €1.5bn are managed by its asset management branch Primonial AM.
