Deutsche Börse to acquire 360T

Deutsche Börse AG has completed its acquisition of currency trading platform 360T, in a bid to strengthen its foreign exchange operations.

Deutsche Börse AG acquired the Frankfurt-based over the counter trading platform for a total purchase price of €725m, the agreement is subject to regulatory approval.

360T caters to corporates, buy-side firms, and banks and has seen double-digit annual revenue growth since its inception in 2000.

Deutsche Börse AG plans to finance the acquisition via a combination of debt and equity, with the aim to minimise a potential impact on its credit rating.
