New Deutsche Börse CEO hires ex-UBS colleague as head of sales

Deutsche Börse has announced the appointment of Rob Jolliffe to global head reporting directly to CEO  Carsten Kengeter.

In a newly created position, Jolliffe will be responsible for strengthening the group’s client focus. Just as Kengeter, he joins Deutsche Börse from UBS, where he worked among others as head of emerging markets.

Prior to that, he held senior positions at JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and  Royal Bank of Scotland, gaining experience in fixed-income sales, origination and underwriting.

Kengeter was appointed as new CEO of Deutsche Börse in June 2015. Prior to that, he headed the investment banking division for UBS.

“Rob is joining us at the right time. With his international background and decades of experience on the customer side he is the right person to bring more agility and innovation to our sales efforts,” said Kengeter.
