Epsilon SGR launches equity flexible fund
Italy’s Epsilon SGR, a joint venture between Eurizon Capital SGR and Banca Imi, has launched Epsilon Flessibile Azioni Euro Settembre 2020, an Italy domiciled fund which seeks returns through a flexible exposure to the eurozone equity markets.
The fund will adopt a flexible management style which will be able to gain an exposure from 0% to 100% to the European equity market.
It will be open for subscription from end of June to the beginning of September 2015.
Its investment horizon will be slightly above five years.
The fund is aimed at those investors who are willing to take a more dynamic risk approach in order to achieve returns.
Epsilon SGR said the fund will seek to achieve returns both through gaining a dynamic exposure to the eurozone equity markets (beta) and through single stock picking (alpha) in the same markets.
Maria Bruni Riccardi, head of Quantitative Investments at Epsilon SGR, said the fund investment strategy will look at both macroeconomic and financial variables and technical indicators which abides by the asset manager’s Tactical Asset Allocation.
