Invesco Perpetual promotes deputy fund manager

Henley-based asset manager Invesco Perpetual has announced the promotion of Jack Parker (pictured) to the position of deputy fund manager.

As of 31 July 2015, Parker joins fund manager Stuart Edwards in the management of the Invesco Global Bond Fund, and Invesco’s co-heads of Fixed Interest, Paul Causer and Paul Read, in the management of the other two funds.

In addition, he will also become deputy fund manager for three offshore funds: the Invesco Global Bond, Global Total Return (EUR) Bond and Global Unconstrained Bond Fund.

Parker has been with Invesco for five years, initially as a trainee before being promoted to the role of macro analyst/ trader, and now to deputy fund manager.

Paul Causer, Co-Head of Fixed Interest at Invesco Perpetual, said: “Jack has provided expert analysis for many years and his input has contributed greatly to the success of the wider fixed income franchise.  I am delighted with his promotion.”
